Clark (Year 7) appointed the prestigious position of Prime Minister for the Children’s Parliament

Last term, we were proud to congratulate Clark (Year 7) who has demonstrated outstanding service following his appointment last year to the prestigious position of Prime Minister for the Children’s Parliament.

Young people between the ages of seven and 11 can apply for this position by submitting a 60-second video of themselves, showcasing their hopes and vision for a brighter future. The Children’s Parliament in which Clark has served, was the brainchild of the late Sir David Amess, Conservative MP for Southend West.

Clark shared, “I feel grateful for having been given the opportunity to do such great things while I have been involved in the children’s parliament. I know that many children across the country want to make a difference and I was, and still am, one of those children. Fortunately, I was able to make a change because of the children’s parliament’s help and support. I have done some incredible things while in my position and met some incredible people. It has been an honour to represent kids across the country and I feel happy about what I have achieved.

Well done to Clark for his impressive achievements.
