A team of Westcliff High School for Boys’ Chemistry students, from Years 9-11 (aged 14-16), were delighted to win the regional heat of the Top of the Bench competition and reach the final, against 120 strong competitors from across the UK. This national Chemistry mastermind event is organised each year by the Royal Society of Chemistry, which aims to inspire pupils to participate and engage with the world of Science. WHSB pupils finished in an impressive sixth place overall.
