WHSB Duke of Edinburgh Expedition season comes to an end

Another WHSB Duke of Edinburgh Expedition season came to an end, as 48 Year 10 pupils successfully completed their Bronze Assessment Expedition, in and around Danbury.

The weather was favourable for the pupils, with the two-day expedition being generally dry, but with a cooling breeze. Their campcraft was superb, and all involved will now work towards completing the other sections of their Award.

In January there will be an opportunity for 28 Year 10 pupils to participate in the Silver Award, and applications will open to recruit the new intake of 48 pupils from our current Year 9 cohort.

Well done to the Year 10 pupils on their success, and we wish them all well with the next section of their Award. Our thanks to Mr Tresidder for coordinating these wonderful opportunities.
